Your wellness journey begins

My mission: To build a wellness service that prevents ill health events, reduces hospital admissions, and delivers long-term, client-centred care.
My journey with people and problem-solving began in 1983 when I joined the Royal Air Force as an Engineer, traveling worldwide, working with diverse cultures, and learning to adapt to any environment.

After seven years, I pursued a Business degree. During university, I founded Tiny Tots Nursery, a childcare service for students and staff, which expanded into an after-school club serving 50 children in the community. While working with Hampshire Children’s Services, I was promoted to Team Manager of an early intervention service for schools and community services. In 2011, I earned a Master’s degree and retrained as a Social Worker.

As a Social Worker, I supported individuals, families and communities by assessing needs, creating care plans, providing emotional support, and advocating for clients’ rights, connecting them to housing, healthcare, and financial aid, as well as offering mental health and addiction counselling.

I worked in Gibraltar as a Social Worker for adults and children, including 18 months at Gibraltar Hospital coordinating discharge planning for vulnerable adults. While deepening my medical knowledge, I worked in domiciliary care, dementia support, and community mental health care for a healthcare provider.

In 2023, I completed a Master’s in Adult Nursing at Bournemouth University, with clinical placements in medical/surgical wards, endocrine care, community nursing, and acute medicine.
A lifelong learner, I have attended International Health Care Conferences.
Outside of work, I’m a grandfather of four and a recreational pilot at Popham Aerodrome, maintaining an annual Civil Aviation Medical certification.
